Valdovinos and Munoz Join CG West
Santa Fe Springs, Calif. — Continental Girbau West (CG West) recently hired Efrain Muñoz as Technical Support and Service Manager and Hilario Valdovinos as Service Technician.
About the Roles
“We are thrilled to have Efrain and Hilario as part of the CG West team,” said Tod Sorensen, CG West vice president. “Efrain has been affiliated with us for a number of years and we rely on him greatly to provide expert technical help to our customers and distributors in the field. Hilario will report directly to Efrain and provide additional field support.”
Efrain Muñoz – Technical Support and Service Manager
- Provide expert technical field support for product installations and service.
- Assist with customer training and product education.
Muñoz, of Pinon Hills, Calif., was born in Costa Rica, where he attended Colegio Vocacional Monseñor Sanabria, studying electromagnetism and residential and industrial electricity. He served the Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad for 10 years and became one of the first 16 technicians in the country to specialize in digital telecommunication installations. He holds over 3,000 hours of trade training in Panama, Mexico, Costa Rica, France, Sweden, and Brazil as part of the modernization of Central American infrastructure. Since 2013, he has served CG West in various capacities, including handling and inspecting vended laundry installations and developing installation training programs for vended laundry owners and technicians.
Hilario Valdovinos – Service Technician
- Perform equipment installations and service for vended and on-premise laundry equipment.
- Provide technical assistance, product information, and installation estimates to customers and staff.
Valdovinos, of Los Angeles, holds several years of experience repairing and installing commercial laundry equipment.
