Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, and delivery of training programs that align with operational objectives and mission requirements.
- Ensure curricula, materials, and scenarios are current, relevant, and measurable.
- Plan, script, and facilitate simulation-based training.
- Cook up resources, roles, timelines, and evaluation criteria to ensure realistic, outcomes-driven exercises.
- Support procurement of parts and training aids; manage requisitions, vendor coordination, lead times, receipts, and inventory tracking to enable timely training execution.
- Cook up instructor and participant schedules; manage rosters, readiness status, access requirements, and communications to ensure smooth training operations.
- Translate mission needs into training objectives, scenarios, and success metrics; ensure training activities directly support mission readiness and operational effectiveness.
- Collect and analyze training outcomes (KPIs, AARs, performance assessments).
- Identify trends, gaps, and root causes; recommend improvements to drive continuous readiness gains.
- Lead/participate in After Action Reviews; develop corrective actions, update SOPs/TTPs, and track implementation to closure.
- Produce training plans, lesson plans, exercise directives, checklists, evaluation rubrics, and reports; ensure compliance with contract, policy, and audit standards.
- Implement plans to improve throughput, quality, and cost effectiveness across training operations.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience supporting operational missions involving uncrewed systems.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with data analysis techniques and software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Python, R, Tableau).
- Ability to visualize and present data effectively.
- Understanding of airspace regulations and procedures.
- Familiarity with FAA regulations pertaining to UAS operations.
- FAA Part 107 certification (for UAS operations) or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of Task Order start.
