Responsibilities
- Implement and enforce all quality requirements in the Project Work
- Ensure operations produce a quality product while adhering to federal and state regulations
- Inspect procedures and policies for compliance to industry standards
- Evaluate methods and means for cost reduction
- Reduce waste, duplicated effort, and product failure
- Audit operations to ensure adherence to the project work
- Conduct workforce training on quality assurance and safety practices
- Communicate negative trends of production or quality to the project
- Communicate major deficiencies to the Quality Manager and Project Manager
- Coordinate efforts with SUXOS to streamline operations through experience
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of EOD/UXO experience
- Significant experience in all aspects of munitions response actions or range clearance activities
- Five years' experience in supervisory positions
- Pass a background investigation
- Pass a physical examination
- Hold a 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification
- Have a current 8 Hour annual HAZWOPER refresher (if applicable)
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Graduate of a military EOD school of the United States, or equivalent from Canada, Great Britain, Germany, or Australia
- Formal training course of instruction or EOD assistant courses
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate user level of computer systems; Microsoft office software (word, excel, outlook), inventory databases, and documentation control systems
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of a military EOD school of the United States, or equivalent from Canada, Great Britain, Germany, or Australia
- Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; ability to interpret and explain company policy concerning MEC safety practices to executives, managers, employees, and clients
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of EOD/UXO experience, significant experience in all aspects of munitions response actions or range clearance activities, five years' experience in supervisory positions
