UXO TECH III - Kwajalein Atoll

About the role

The role involves conducting UXO (Unexploded Ordnance) detection and disposal operations at Kwajalein Atoll. This includes using advanced equipment and techniques to locate, mark, and safely dispose of unexploded ordnance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct UXO detection operations using specialized equipment
• Mark and document UXO locations for safe clearance
• Participate in safety briefings and follow all safety protocols
• Work collaboratively with local authorities and contractors
• Document findings and report to supervisors

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in UXO detection or related field
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work in remote locations
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and long hours outdoors

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Knowledge of UXO detection methods
• Experience with UXO marking and documentation
• Basic first aid and CPR certification
