Responsibilities
- Work in a team environment to successfully complete project goals.

- Execute field activities; records and maintains adequate documentation.
- Maintain professional and capable image, while interacting with clients in the field.
- Determine precise location in field environment using a variety of techniques such as use of global positioning equipment, or basic land navigation techniques using topographical map and compass.
- Conduct visual UXO and DMM field search activities.
- Supervise and perform the on-site demilitarization of munitions debris.
- Prepare required range maintenance administrative reports.
- Prepare site-specific safety procedures for range clearance activities.
- Prepare risk and hazards analyses.
- Supervise the safety performance of all on-site UXO-related operations.
- Inspect and certify and/or verify job site as safe for transfer.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of EOD/UXO Experience.
- 2 years' experience as UXOSO.
- Significant experience in all aspects of munitions response actions or range clearance activities, as appropriate for the contracted operations.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation.
- Must be able to pass a physical.
- Must have 40 Hour HAZWOPER
- Must have OSASHA 30 Hour Construction Safety Course.
- Must have OSHA 10 Hour Construction Safety Course.
- Must have current 8 Hour annual HAZWOPER Refresher (if applicable).
- Must have valid U.S. driver's license.
- Graduate of a military EOD School of the United States.
- OR Graduate of military EOD school of Canada, Great Britain, Germany, or Australia.
- OR Graduate of a formal training course of instruction or EOD assistant courses.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; ability to interpret and explain company policy concerning MEC safety practices to executives, managers, employees, and clients.
- Intermediate user level of computer systems; Microsoft office software (word, excel, outlook), inventory databases, and documentation control systems.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a military EOD School of the United States.
- OR Graduate of military EOD school of Canada, Great Britain, Germany, or Australia.
- OR Graduate of a formal training course of instruction or EOD assistant courses.
Skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate user level of computer systems; Microsoft office software (word, excel, outlook), inventory databases, and documentation control systems.
