About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented design leader to significantly influence the operational backbone of our internal systems. You will be instrumental in transforming complex workflows and automation concepts into intuitive, user-centric experiences, directly impacting productivity and collaboration across various teams. Your vision and expertise will not only define the aesthetic but also the fundamental usability of critical internal tools, setting new standards for design excellence and user advocacy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of thoughtful and intuitive user experiences for a suite of internal tools.
  • Translate intricate requirements, complex workflows, and data into clear, engaging, and highly functional interfaces.
  • Generate comprehensive design artifacts, ranging from initial concepts and user flows to production-ready assets.
  • Architect and implement a robust design system that ensures consistency and scalability across multiple internal platforms.
  • Actively participate in design reviews, skillfully integrating feedback to continuously enhance and strengthen design solutions.
  • Contribute to the evolution of existing design patterns while proactively exploring and proposing innovative solutions for emerging operational needs.
  • Champion our core design principles of simplicity, clarity, and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring they are reflected in every interaction.

Qualifications

Must-Have Skills & Experience

  • 5-7 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in tooling or complex system design.
  • Proficiency with leading design and prototyping tools including Sketch, Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Experience with collaboration and project management tools such as Confluence and Jira.
  • Adept at creating compelling presentations and visual communications using tools like Keynote and Miro.
  • Proven ability to advocate for users throughout the design process, translating user needs into impactful design solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and implementing comprehensive design systems.

Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience

  • Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams to ensure design fidelity through implementation.
  • A passion for continuous learning and contributing to the evolution of design standards and practices.
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally, turning complex concepts into clear, meaningful interactions.
