Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver user interface and interaction solutions for embedded systems on professional-grade tools and lifestyle products
- Execute design work within established UX/UI standards, including interaction patterns, visual language, and interface conventions
- Collaborate with industrial design, engineering, and product teams to address user and technical challenges
- Develop graphical interface elements both on-tool and on-screen to support cohesive end-to-end experiences
- Support usability, human factors, and accessibility considerations throughout the product development process
- Communicate and document design intent clearly from concept through implementation
Design Duties
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (industrial design, engineering, project leadership, product marketing) to understand user needs, constraints, and product goals
- Translate research insights and requirements into wireframes, user flows, and interface designs
- Create prototypes (low- to high-fidelity) to communicate interaction models and validate design concepts
- Contribute to usability testing activities, including test planning, execution, and synthesis of findings
- Iterate on designs based on feedback, testing results, and technical feasibility
- Document interaction behaviors, UI specifications, and design rationale for development teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Industrial Design, or related discipline
- 3–5 years of relevant UX/UI design experience, preferably involving both physical and digital product experiences
- Portfolio demonstrating proficiency in interaction design, visual communication, and prototyping
- Experience working in cross-functional product development environments
- Familiarity with tools such as Figma, ProtoPie, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with embedded systems and hardware/software constraints
- Familiarity with usability, accessibility, and inclusive design principles
- Ability to design for real-world conditions (e.g., visibility, physical interaction, environmental constraints)
Qualifications
- Occasional travel may be required
Skills
- Proficiency in interaction design, visual communication, and prototyping
- Experience with Figma, ProtoPie, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
