About the role
We are seeking a Product Designer with a strong background in UX/UI to support a digital self-service portal. This role involves working on the long-term convergence and modernization of the platform, which includes integrating small business capabilities into a single, cohesive user experience. The position requires a focus on complex user workflows and a close partnership with Product, Engineering, Research, Content Design, and Accessibility teams.
Responsibilities
- Assess current experiences across multiple portals to help design a future-state converged experience.
- Create UX solutions for complex customer workflows related to billing, services, usage, and account management.
- Design scalable experiences that accommodate a wide range of customer types and complexity levels.
- Produce and maintain high-fidelity, working prototypes that serve as the primary artifact for development handoff.
- Utilize and contribute to the evolution of the design system by creating new components, assets, and patterns.
- Act as a key connection point between Product and Development, collaborating closely with engineers to minimize implementation changes.
- Partner with researchers to conduct usability testing and apply insights from research, analytics, and customer feedback to design decisions.
- Understand business context and future product direction to design for both current and future-state customer experiences.
Requirements
- Product Design experience with a strong emphasis on UX skills.
- Experience designing complex workflows and solving challenging user experience problems.
- Ability to design for large, complex data sets and create scalable experiences for diverse user personas.
- Experience creating high-fidelity prototypes and designing responsive web applications.
- Experience working with and contributing to design systems.
- Proficiency with Figma.
- Comfort with adopting AI-enabled design tools and workflows.
- Ability to work closely with Engineering throughout the design process.
- Experience using research, analytics, and customer feedback to inform design decisions.
- A portfolio that clearly communicates the rationale behind design decisions and demonstrates a user-centered approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Native mobile application design experience.
- Data visualization experience, including charts, graphs, and dashboards.
Pay
The anticipated pay range for this position is $50.00/hr to $73.00/hr.
