UX researcher

About the role
We are looking for an experienced UX researcher, preferably with experience in Wealth Management/Capital Markets, responsible for helping define and drive the future of our product. You will reveal what our users need from our products by conducting research, working with cross-functional teams, and performing usability studies. These responsibilities also include inspiring change, delivering oral and written presentations, evaluating qualitative and quantitative data, and helping the UX team improve.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research using various methods including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and field studies to gather data about user behavior and preferences.
- Evaluate and review existing products by analyzing the user experience to identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze data collected from user research, identifying trends and extracting meaningful insights.
- Communicate insights clearly and concisely to designers and other stakeholders, ensuring findings are understood and actionable.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and product managers, to ensure research findings inform design and development decisions.
- Promote user-centered design principles and ensure research findings are used to create positive and inclusive experiences for all users.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in UX research.
Pay
The annual salary for this position is between $95,000 and $115,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
