About the role

Our roster has an opening with your name on it. FanDuel is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Sports UX team as a UX Researcher. You’ll take part in meaningful work and real-life projects as you gain an in-depth look into the inner workings of one of the world's premier sports-technology & entertainment companies. You'll learn from some of the most innovative and experienced minds in the industry and improve your knowledge of User Experience processes in a fast-paced environment.

The game plan

  • Demonstrate an advanced understanding of our users and how they engage with our products.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the product under study, including the relevant journeys, user needs, challenges, and the FanDuel business.
  • Successfully organize, facilitate, and analyze unmoderated and medium-complexity moderated user research, while taking measurable steps to learn how to conduct more complex studies.
  • Translate business questions or hypotheses into research objectives and a clear research plan.
  • Demonstrate storytelling skills by clearly and succinctly communicating research findings across various formats, while connecting it back to the business and customer goals (the “so what?”).
  • Identify and clearly articulate areas for improvement based on research findings.
  • Conduct heuristic analyses and make recommendations based on best practices.

Stats

  • Minimum of 3+ years of previous User Experience Research experience.
  • Strong knowledge of User Experience Research methodologies and best practices.
  • Demonstrated success working as part of a cross-functional team that includes UX Design, Product, and Engineering.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of sports and/or experience working within a heavily regulated industry is a plus.

  • The applicable salary range for this position is $94,000 - $129,250 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand.
  • This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits.
  • This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation.
  • This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays.
  • FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
  • It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
