UX Designer

About the role

Responsibilities

• Design user-centered wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and personas
• Lead discovery sessions and requirements gathering with clients
• Translate user needs into intuitive designs
• Conduct user research and usability tests to inform design decisions
• Present designs and collect feedback from stakeholders and internal teams
• Hand off designs with detailed documentation to developers
• Partner closely with a team of highly skilled software developers, project managers, graphic designers, and quality assurance professionals
• Manage multiple client projects and timelines at once
• Conduct site audits and content review

Requirements

• 3-5 years of UX design experience
• Proficient in Figma for creating wireframes and managing large design files
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills
• Willingness to accept feedback to iterate and improve on designs
• Extreme attention to detail and organizational skills
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Experience working at an agency a plus
• Experience working in the public sector a plus

Qualifications

• Applicants in Maine will be prioritized, but remote candidates are welcome
