Job#: 3047333 Job Description: UX Content Designer Location: Kansas City, Missouri (Onsite) Role Overview This is a 12-week contract role averaging approximately 20 hours per week, focused primarily on production-level content design and copywriting across the organization's web experiences. This role will provide additional capacity to help the team efficiently deliver the volume of content updates required. You will partner closely with UX Designers, marketers, legal partners, developers, and business stakeholders to update and create clear, useful, on-brand digital content within established experiences. Key Responsibilities Write, edit, and refine customer-facing digital content needed for seasonal readiness.Support production-level content updates across existing pages, components, product experiences, and customer journeys.Help transition certain brand experiences and messaging to the main brand, ensuring consistency in voice, terminology, and customer understanding.Support content migration for existing pages moving into updated experiences.Write and refine content for key experiences including software category pages, product detail pages, and financial services content.Incorporate seasonal product, pricing, offer, regulatory, and legal revisions into existing experiences.Partner with UX Designers to establish clear content hierarchy and ensure copy works effectively within responsive components and layouts.Translate complex tax, financial, product, and legal information into clear, approachable customer-facing language.Work within established voice, tone, terminology, content standards, and design system patterns.Review existing content for clarity, consistency, accuracy, accessibility, and unnecessary duplication.Incorporate feedback from Legal, Marketing, Product, and other stakeholders while maintaining a clear and cohesive customer experience.Support additional low- to medium-complexity writing and production needs as seasonal priorities evolve. Required Qualifications 2 to 4 years of UX writing, content design, digital copywriting, or related experience.Strong portfolio demonstrating digital content, UX writing, web copy, or product content.Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and information hierarchy skills.Ability to simplify complex or technical information without losing accuracy.Comfortable working within an established brand voice and content system.Experience partnering directly with UX or Product Designers in Figma.Strong attention to detail, particularly when managing high volumes of revisions and similar content across multiple experiences.Comfortable balancing feedback from Marketing, Legal, Product, Design, and other stakeholders.Able to work quickly across multiple assignments and changing priorities.Familiarity with accessibility and writing for responsive digital experiences. Preferred Qualifications Experience with financial services, tax, or regulated industries.Experience with Adobe Experience Manager is a plus.
