Uveitis Ophthalmology Specialist - Faculty (Open Rank)

We are seeking an academically oriented Uveitis Specialist to join our expanding team in the Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences. This full-time, open-rank faculty position is available in the clinician-educator track and will be primarily located at the Eye Institute, Milwaukee, WI (Froedtert Hospital Campus).

• Full-time faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.
• Seeking candidates with strong clinical and surgical expertise in uveitis.
• Requires well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, enthusiasm, professionalism, and a collaborative spirit.
• Commitment to advancing MCW’s academic missions in clinical care, education, and scholarly activity.
• Clinical activity work locations include the Eye Institute (Froedtert Hospital Campus), Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, satellite clinics, and coverage at Children’s Wisconsin, Froedtert Hospital, and Zablocki Veterans Administration Medical Center.
• Ample opportunities to teach Ophthalmology residents.

The Medical College of Wisconsin Eye Institute is a national leader as a full-service academic ophthalmology center, home to 34 physicians, 15 optometrists, and 7 faculty vision scientists. Our mission is to improve, restore, and preserve sight through:

Qualifications

• Licensed MD or equivalent.
• Board Certified/Eligible by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
• Completion of a U.S. Uveitis Fellowship program.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Wisconsin.
