Retina and Vitreous Ophthalmology Specialist - Faculty (Open Rank)

About the role

The Medical College of Wisconsin's Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences is seeking an academically oriented board certified/eligible Retina and Vitreous Ophthalmologist to join our expanding team. This position will be primarily located at the Eye Institute, Milwaukee, WI (Froedtert Hospital Campus) with potential days per week at satellite clinics.

Responsibilities

• Primary clinical activity at the Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin Eye Institute with possibly one or two half-days per week at satellite clinics.
• Provide clinical coverage at the Children’s Wisconsin, Froedtert Hospital, and Zablocki Veterans Administration Medical Center.
• Commitment to advancing MCW’s academic missions in clinical care, education, and scholarly activity.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Chair or Chair-Designate.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed MD or equivalent.
• Must be board Certified/Eligible by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
• Must have completed a U.S. Retina & Vitreous Fellowship program.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Wisconsin.

Pay

Salary range TBD, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Full-time faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.

Provides coverage during core business hours with some flexibility required, as necessary, to accommodate business needs.
