Comprehensive Ophthalmology - Faculty (Open Rank)

About the role

The Medical College of Wisconsin's Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences is seeking an academically oriented board certified/eligible Comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join our expanding team. This position will be primarily located at the Eye Institute, Milwaukee, WI (Froedtert Hospital Campus) with potential days per week at satellite clinics.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and manage a caseload of patients with various ocular conditions.
• Provide clinical care, including both medical and surgical interventions.
• Participate in teaching and training of medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Contribute to research initiatives and publish findings.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and participate in multidisciplinary teams.
• Engage in administrative duties as assigned by the Chair or Chair-Designate.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed MD or equivalent.
• Board Certified/Eligible by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Wisconsin.
• Interest in clinical or basic science research is desirable.

Pay

Schedule

Full-time faculty position with coverage during core business hours with some flexibility required, as necessary.
