Essential Job Duties

  • Conducting routine and preventive maintenance inspections on:
    • Life Safety Systems
    • Fire Detection and Suppression Systems
    • Security Systems
    • CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) Systems
    • Equipment Monitoring Systems
    • Other miscellaneous electronic systems and subsystems
  • Installing, maintaining, and modifying fire detection and suppression systems, Life Safety equipment, card access systems, CCTV, and equipment monitoring tools.
  • Responding to repair requests and troubleshooting issues with various electronic components to ensure systems operate at peak performance.
  • Collaborating with other teams and vendors to guarantee timely inspections and installations.

Schedule

M-F, 4:00 pm to 12:30 am (2nd Shift)

  • Minimum Experience/Education: High School Diploma or completion of GED
  • Department Required Skills: Experience working with security systems, and CCTV systems; Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot electronic systems; Knowledge of safety codes and regulations related to Life Safety systems is preferred; Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, contractors, and vendors.
  • Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education: Experience working with fire alarm systems
  • Required License or Certification: N/A
  • Valid NC Driver's License required?: No
  • Commercial Driver's License Required?: No
