Basic Qualifications

  • 3 years of related experience in repairing, replacing, and rebuilding electrical system wiring, connectors, and components using hand tools, and power tools.
  • Applicable test equipment experience, including digital multi-meters and oscilloscopes.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and technical manuals.

Job Description

You will be the Electronics Technician Maintenance I for our team, supporting 2nd Shift Operations (3:30PM - 2:00AM). Our team is responsible for performing duties supporting multiple Special Operations groups.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Apply basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks.
  • Follow detailed instructions to complete tasks.
  • Replace components, wiring circuits, and repair simple electronic equipment.
  • Take test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes.
  • Work under close supervision and receive technical guidance from a supervisor or higher-level technician.

This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.

  • CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE ABILITY TO WORK ALTERNATE SCHEDULES AS BUSINESS NEEDS DICTATE.
  • Desired Skills: Soldering experience, prior harness fabrication experience, proficiency in reading engineering drawings and blueprints, experience operating and maintaining wire marking systems.
