UTS- Temporary Conference Coordinator at NC State University

Temporary position assisting with the 2026 Sustainable Fleet Technology Conference.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing a clean-transportation conference.
• Design signage and social-media content using Canva.
• Photograph event activities.
• Recruit new participants and maintain relationships with returning clients.
• Support registration processes and communicate with attendees.
• Assist with event-space reservations, layouts, and logistical details.
• Provide customer service via email, phone, and in-person interactions.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Familiarity with Google Suite products and Microsoft 365.
• Canva and photography skills.
• Customer-service experience via in-person, email, and phone.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with project-management software, CRM systems, and event tools.
• Knowledge of clean-energy and clean-transportation issues.

Pay

$25.00 – $30.00 per hour.

Schedule

Onsite; Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm (some variations in hours with events may occur).

Location: Raleigh, NC.
