UTQIAGVIK: Temporary WAN I

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide hardware and software telephone and user site support to PC users.
• Install, trouble-shoot, and repair hardware, software and peripheral equipment.
• Travel to villages as needed to support PC hardware, software and peripheral equipment.
• Aid the WAN personnel in installation and support of network equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, controls.
• Sometimes stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.

Environmental Conditions

• Work environment is usually quiet.
• May require occasional travel within and outside of the North Slope Borough School District.
• May involve flying in small and large commuter planes.
