UTQIAGVIK: Temporary Maintenance I/Custodian

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Aid in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of District facilities.
• Support the maintenance and storage of District property.
• Assist in restocking and expediting materials within District facilities.
• Participate in the implementation of the preventative maintenance program.
• Report unauthorized persons and damages to the appropriate authority.
• Adhere to District policies and regulations.
• Attend District training as required.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, and controls.
• Frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Frequently use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Regularly work near moving mechanical parts and be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.
• Work in a moderate noise environment.
