Utility Worker I - The Denver Action Team
About the role

Responsibilities
- Assigned to Graffiti abatement
- Performs unskilled, light to heavy physical labor on a variety of construction, maintenance, and repair projects
- Operates light weight equipment powered by small engines
- Performs pre-trip inspection on equipment
- Cleans and cares for tools and equipment
- Performs seasonal duties such as salting, sanding, and removal of ice and snow
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous experience with graffiti abatement, paint removal, and/or power washing
- Comfortable working at heights
- Experience working with handheld technology
- Experience working in various weather conditions and environments
- Knowledge of city of Denver streets/alleys and use of maps
- Desire to promote to other positions within the department

The salary range for this position is $20.06-23.00/hour, based on experience and education.
