Responsibilities
- Maintain casino floor, stairways, mirrors, glass, and assigned areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met
- Service assigned areas daily, including vacuuming, restroom cleaning, emptying ash/trash receptacles, dusting, polishing, and sweeping
- Clean and maintain restrooms, including sinks, mirrors, walls, and fixtures
- Ensure restrooms remain clean, stocked, and orderly at all times
- Perform full cleaning of the casino floor, including vacuuming, gaming tables, and carpet shampooing
- Retrieve necessary cleaning supplies and notify management when inventory needs replenishment
- Respond promptly and safely to biohazard situations (e.g., blood, bodily fluids)
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in a safe and sanitary condition
- Report maintenance issues and emergency repairs to the Supervisor immediately
- Safeguard sensitive and privileged information
- Submit all Lost & Found items to Security in a timely manner
- Follow all safety guidelines and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Comply with all departmental policies, procedures, and service standards
- Attend required training sessions and participate in pre-shift meetings
- Complete additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Proficient in English verbal and written in a professional manner
- Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Prior professional cleaning experience preferred
- Union referral card required
Additional Requirements
- Ability to push and pull up to 70 pounds
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 70 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively
- Safely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipment
- Able to ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period
- Work requires visual abilities needed to safely operate motorized equipment
- Ability to receive instructions and hear inquiries from guests, clients, or staff
- Ability to maintain a consistent pace throughout the shift
