Utility Operator (Day Shift 6AM-2PM)

About the role

As a Production Associate (Utility Operator), you will contribute to our mission by ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of utility systems, equipment, and sanitation duties to maintain food safety compliance. This role involves working in various areas of our plant, rotating through positions and shifts to support production goals.

Responsibilities

• Utility Operators: Maintain and operate utility systems and equipment while performing sanitation duties to ensure food safety compliance.
• Bulk Operators: Load bulk delivery vessels and perform sanitation duties to maintain food safety and compliance within the bulk department.
• Elevator Operators: Operate and maintain elevators or lifts, ensuring the efficient movement of raw materials like grains or ingredients throughout the facility.
• Warehouse Operators: Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, organizing, forklift operation, and distributing raw materials and finished products, while maintaining food safety standards.
• Pack Operators: Operate packing equipment, process and pack products, and perform sanitation duties to ensure compliance and efficient packaging.

Physical requirements and working conditions

• Ascend and descend stairs multiple times per day.
• Climb ladders, steps, and extensions.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and exert 20 pounds of force.
• Frequently stand, walk, rotate, bend, stoop, twist, crouch, kneel, balance, and reach at or below shoulder level.
• Work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, including heat, cold, dust, and loud noise, while wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), such as a dust mask.
• Work in elevated areas (4 feet and above).
• Must be clean-shaven to ensure a proper seal for respiratory protection when required.

Pay

Starting pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00 per hour, with additional earning potential based on experience. Team members are also eligible for an annual performance bonus with a target of 5% of base pay, tied to company performance and individual contributions.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a shift of 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
