Bulk Utility Operator (Day Shift 10AM - 6PM)

About the role

Ardent Mills is seeking a Full-Time Production Associate to join our team. We provide comprehensive training to ensure your success and contribute to the production of nutritious products that are distributed across North America.

Responsibilities

• Utility Operators: Maintain and operate various utility systems and equipment, and perform sanitation duties to ensure food safety requirements and support production processes.
• Bulk Operators: Load bulk deliver vessels and perform sanitation duties to maintain food safety requirements and support the bulk department.
• Elevator Operators: Operate and maintain elevators/lifts, perform sanitation duties, and ensure food safety requirements for smooth and efficient movement of raw materials.
• Warehouse Operators: Operate the warehouse, perform sanitation duties, and ensure food safety requirements for smooth and efficient operation of warehouse tasks.
• Pack Operators: Operate pack equipment, process, pack products, and perform sanitation duties to ensure food safety requirements and support the pack department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a similar role preferred
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs., standing, walking, rotating, bending, stooping, twisting, crouching, kneeling, balancing, reaching, ascending/descending stairs, climbing, crawling, and using PPE
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, including heat, cold, dust, loud noise, and elevated areas (4 feet and above)
• Clean-shaven for tasks requiring respiratory protection

Pay

The starting range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00, with additional earning potential possible commensurate with experience.

Shift Differential

The Company provides a shift differential to eligible employees who are assigned to and work shifts outside of standard business hours. Shift differential is paid in addition to the employee's regular base hourly rate and is included in the calculation of the regular rate for overtime purposes.
