Utility Operator

About the role

The Utility Operator will be responsible for sanitation, maintaining equipment and providing vacation relief at a soybean processing facility.

Responsibilities

• Clean equipment, tank farms and outside work areas
• Handle any processing materials and supplies required of the operation
• Keep all containment areas free of water and trash
• Train to perform other production and operations positions
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Willing and able to work days, nights and weekends
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Takes initiative
• Team player
• Must be able to write legibly
• Basic math skills
• Able to understand and follow safety procedures and other instructions
• Able to read and understand manufacturing standards and specifications
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
