About the role
The Utility Maintenance Operator-Sewer is responsible for maintaining and operating sewer systems to ensure efficient and effective waste management.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and maintain sewer lines and equipment
- Respond to emergency calls related to sewer issues
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent system failures
- Operate and monitor sewer pumps and other machinery
- Document all activities and report findings to supervisors
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar field
- First aid and CPR certification
Qualifications
- Strong physical fitness and stamina
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
Skills
- Proficient in using hand tools and machinery
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely
- Good problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail

Pay

Schedule
