About the role

The Information Technology Specialist, Sr. position at NorthPoint Health and Wellness is responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, support, and administration of clinic-wide applications, systems, and Information Technology infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Administration/management of NorthPoint Health and Wellness’s major internal medical system servers including Cerner, QS1, Epic, WinScribe and Dentrix.
  • Maintain software upgrades using Shavlik and other industry standard protocols.
  • Analyze, recommend and order all software, hardware based on appropriate approvals.
  • Manage the Dell hardware leasing program in conjunction with HCIT.
  • Aid in the planning and estimating of IT related work efforts and projects.

Requirements

  • Two-year college/vocational technical degree in computer science, management information systems (MIS), or information technology.
  • An approved related degree.
  • An approved information technology certificate.
  • Four years of experience as an operations analyst within the last eight years.
  • Two years or more of experience as an IT professional, including one year or more of clinical health care information technology experience.
  • One year or more of data security experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Project management experience.

Qualifications

  • One of the following:
    • Two-year college/vocational technical degree in computer science, management information systems (MIS), or information technology.
    • An approved related degree.
    • An approved information technology certificate.
  • Four years of experience as an operations analyst within the last eight years.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Cerner, QS1, Epic, WinScribe, and Dentrix.
  • Ability to manage and maintain server environments.
  • Knowledge of data security and privacy practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 annually.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour work week.
