Responsibilities
- Supervise, coordinate, and assist in the construction and repair of both overhead and underground distribution.
- Respond to and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide leadership and training to line and service personnel.
- Champion safe work practices and ensure compliance to Company Safety Rules.
- Work to ensure network goals and objectives are met or exceeded.
- Manage all SO/SR/WR's in DIS/DSS.
- Organize work and manage multiple tasks and inputs simultaneously.
- Work with others and maintain a positive attitude in extreme working conditions.
- Direct construction/repair crews safely and construct/restore the electric system efficiently with a strong attention to detail, safety, and accuracy.
- Assist in Network operations, storm restorations, and operation of AM/FM, and direct contract crews.
- Motivate and influence a diverse and geographically dispersed workforce dealing with a wide variety of safety and training issues.
- Assume Line Supervisor's duties for a short time in their absence.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 8 years of line experience or equivalent.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to take and understand directives and complete tasks.
- Required to work safely and follow all Entergy safety policies and procedures.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Strong decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and changing priorities.
- Self-motivated and dependable team player.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to recognize hazards in the workplace and mitigate them.
- Ability to maintain and care for Company equipment properly and safeguard assets.
- Class A Commercial driver's license.

Schedule
As a provider of essential services, employees are expected to be available to work additional hours, alternate locations, and perform additional duties in connection with storms, outages, emergencies, or other situations as deemed necessary by the company. Travel is estimated at 50% to 75%. Exempt employees may not be paid overtime associated with such duties.
