How You Will Contribute
- Routine and non-routine cultivation operations including knowledge of hydroponics/aquaponics, harvesting, and data collection.
- Maintain greenhouse environmental conditions and monitor Lemna plant health.
- Follow standardized operation procedures and complete data collection and entry.
- Collaborate with the pilot plant team for harvesting and maceration of plant biomass for processing.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Work in hot humid environments for extended periods of time.
- Assist with maintenance and repairs of equipment, as needed.
- Adhere to GMP/HACCP/OSHA/Food Safety Standards.
- Adjust and maintain chemical, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical control systems.
What You Bring To Plantible
- Prior experience in greenhouses, food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Knowledge of safe work practices in a facility manufacturing environment.
- Experience in basic technical/mechanical manufacturing.
- Ability to do basic math functions (add/subtract/multiply/divide).
- Must be able to convert standard units of measurement.
- Forklift Certification or the ability to complete certification within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to stand 8+ hours a day, reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift over 50 lbs.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early morning, evening or night shifts, as needed.
- Experience in chemical processing and automated control systems is a plus.
- Experience in hydroponics/aquaponics is a plus!

About the role
This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 3 months, with a possibility of extension.
Qualifications
- Some prior experience in greenhouses, food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Knowledge of safe work practices in a facility manufacturing environment.
- Basic technical/mechanical manufacturing experience.
- Ability to perform basic math functions.
- Conversion of standard units of measurement.
- Forklift Certification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
- Standing for extended periods of time, reaching, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Flexible work schedule, including early morning, evening, or night shifts.
- Experience in chemical processing and automated control systems is a plus.
- Experience in hydroponics/aquaponics is a plus.

The Pay Range For This Role Is 26 - 26 USD per hour(San Marcos, CA)
