Responsibilities
- Design & conduct research to guide the development with a focus on speech communication and human-AI interaction, leveraging primarily quantitative UX research approaches and tools such as lab-based experimentation, statistical analysis.
- Evaluate and iterate on audio and communication features for AI wearables by understanding how users perceive, interact with, and benefit from device-based experiences.
- Work closely with partners and stakeholders to influence development and integration of future AI wearables experiences and solutions.
- Independently complete research, including data collection, data analysis, reporting, collaborating with teams.
Requirements
- Must be located around Redmond, WA.
- Must be a US citizen, green card holder, H4/EAD visa holder, or green card EAD visa holder.
- This role cannot do C2C and does not sponsor.
- Candidates must be able to work on a W2.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years research experience with a Master's degree or a minimum of 1 year research experience with a PhD.
- Strong foundation in mixed-methods research, especially experimental design, inferential statistics.
- Proficiency in statistical programming and data visualization (R/Python).
- Prior experience conducting lab-based perceptual or behavioral studies in speech communication or human-AI interaction fields (e.g., linguistics, speech sciences, voice-based AI).
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years research experience with Master Degree or minimum 1 year research experience with PHD.
Skills
