User Experience Researcher
We are seeking an experienced Senior UX Researcher to help shape and improve complex digital experiences that support internal users on a global scale. This role is ideal for a research professional who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys solving complex user challenges, and can translate insights into meaningful product improvements.
About the role
You will lead the full UX research lifecycle, partnering closely with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and Engineering teams to uncover user needs, validate concepts, and drive user-centered decision making. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable conducting hands-on research, synthesizing data, influencing stakeholders, and presenting strategic recommendations to leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end UX research activities across discovery, concept validation, design iteration, and post-launch evaluation
- Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative research studies
- Conduct interviews, usability tests, surveys, contextual inquiries, diary studies, card sorting, and other research methods
- Create and maintain customer journey maps, personas, and service blueprints
- Synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
- Translate research findings into user stories, product requirements, and strategic opportunities
- Partner with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle
- Present findings through compelling storytelling and visual communication
- Guide teams on UX research best practices, accessibility, and human-centered design methods
- Support research operations including participant recruitment, screeners, scheduling, incentives, and repository management
- Advocate for inclusive design, accessibility standards, and ethical research practices
Requirements
- 5+ years of dedicated UX Research experience working on complex digital products or services
- Bachelor's degree in HCI, Psychology, Design, Information Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Demonstrated expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
- Experience navigating ambiguous problem spaces and independently defining research approaches
- Strong ability to synthesize research findings into actionable recommendations
- Experience building journey maps, personas, and service blueprints
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive research practices

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within Financial Services, FinTech, Automotive, or Enterprise Software environments

- Experience presenting research insights and recommendations to executive leadership
- Experience mentoring team members and promoting UX research best practices
- Passion for emerging research methods, AI-enabled insights tools, and continuous learning

Pay
$50.00 - $60.00 per hour
