About the role

Epic is seeking a UX Designer to lead experience and visual design for several development teams. The ideal candidate will work closely with users to understand their needs, conduct research on workflows, and collaborate with developers to create intuitive and visually appealing applications.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with end-users to gather insights and requirements
  • Research user workflows and contextual usage of applications
  • Work alongside developers to design applications with sound information architecture
  • Demonstrate ideas through sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes

Requirements

  • Strong user-centered design techniques
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in user-centered design
  • Portfolio showcasing strong UX and visual design skills
  • Ability to relocate to Madison, WI

Qualifications

  • Experience in creating interactive applications
  • Knowledge of information architecture and usability principles
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
