About the role
Shape user interaction with critical applications for researchers, safety staff, and administrators. Provide UX and UI design for web application development teams in an agile environment. Own design for assigned product areas, ensuring a unified user experience across applications. Deliver wireframes, interactive prototypes, and detailed, developer-ready design specifications. Contribute to a shared design system and ensure accessibility, design, and branding standards are met. Plan and conduct usability evaluations and user research to inform and validate design decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related area or equivalent experience/training.
- Three or more years of experience designing user interfaces for responsive web applications (desktop, tablet, mobile).
- Proven experience creating user-centric web applications combining aesthetics, usability, and ADA compliance.
- Proficiency with Figma for interface design, including components, auto-layout, and shared libraries, plus familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end behavior to effectively collaborate with engineers.
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills for product owners and project teams.

Pay
Competitive annual salary ranging from $99,431 to $186,166.
