About the role
As a Used Equipment Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling and promoting used Caterpillar equipment to various clients within the construction and industrial sectors.
Essential Functions
- Identify and pursue potential sales leads
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and preferences
- Present products and services effectively to clients
- Manage relationships with existing customers to ensure long-term business
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive solutions
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Proficiency in using CRM software
- Understanding of Caterpillar equipment and industry trends
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in a similar industry
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
