About the role

As a Used Equipment Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling and promoting used Caterpillar equipment to various clients within the construction and industrial sectors.

Essential Functions

  • Identify and pursue potential sales leads
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and preferences
  • Present products and services effectively to clients
  • Manage relationships with existing customers to ensure long-term business
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive solutions

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Proficiency in using CRM software
  • Understanding of Caterpillar equipment and industry trends
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in a similar industry
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
