About the role

The Loader is responsible for efficiently and safely loading and unloading materials, products, or cargo onto and off trucks, containers, or storage areas. This role ensures that items are properly handled, secured, and organized to facilitate smooth and effective transportation and storage operations.

America's Heartland Packing is set to open its doors in early 2025. The 775,000 sq. ft. greenfield project will include a harvest floor, carcass chillers, fabrication area, rendering, further processing area, storage coolers, freezers, and loading docks.

Responsibilities

• Complete a daily forklift inspection report at the start of each shift. Report any deficiencies that would not allow safe use of the equipment immediately to the shipping supervisor.
• Loaders will work with an order picker as a team and will share responsibilities of each load to which they are assigned.
• Loaders are required to complete a trailer checklist prior to loading. If deficiencies are found with the refrigeration unit or interior of the trailer, they are to be reported to the shipping supervisor before any loading occurs.
• Loaders will use scanners to ship the product
