(USA) Vision Center Manager NL2

About the Role

Drives sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and maintaining instock and inventory levels. Oversees budgeting, forecasting sales, and assessing economic trends and community needs.

Responsibilities

• Model, enforce, and provide direction on proper customer service approaches to ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved within company guidelines.
• Oversee and participate in community outreach programs, encouraging associates to serve as active community members.
• Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations by analyzing reports, monitoring asset protection and safety controls, and implementing action plans to improve performance.
• Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and promoting a belonging mindset.
• Ensure the provision of quality eyewear by consulting with and educating customers, selecting products based on needs, verifying prescriptions, and maintaining optical equipment.
• Uphold the company’s Open Door Policy by addressing associate concerns, researching issues, and suggesting resolutions.
• Coordinate job-related activities, build relationships with stakeholders, and support initiatives to meet customer and business needs.
• Promote a culture of respect, integrity, and excellence by fostering high-performing teams, embracing diversity, and driving continuous improvement.
• Deliver results while prioritizing customer needs, balancing short- and long-term priorities, and making data-driven decisions.

Requirements

• Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR 2 years’ general work experience including 1 year’s optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supervising associates.

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $34.00 - $44.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) adjustments based on location.
