Drive member service in the Tire and Battery Center and supervise hourly associates to deliver safe, efficient services. Model expertise, collaborate with other team leaders, and ensure the club meets member expectations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the Tire and Battery Center team to deliver on the business plan and contribute to overall club success.
- Communicate department goals, set guidelines, and execute company programs while adhering to policies and advocating for members, associates, and the company.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of business operations, safety protocols, compliance, tire and battery service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, tire recalls, product specifications, and seasonality.
- Train the team on new products, technologies, and processes to ensure consistent performance.
- Leverage digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve service experience, and elevate associate engagement.
- Use handheld technology for real-time business decisions related to services, safety alerts, product information, and training.
- Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, and maintain a neat, clean, and safe work area.
- Proactively plan, order supplies, track inventory, monitor returns, assist with staffing, and operate cash registers.
- Train and develop associates, monitor completion of e-learnings, and identify potential for career growth.
- Develop and implement processes to meet business needs through collaboration with managers, coworkers, and customers.
- Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with company policies and ethical standards.
- Lead teams by sharing resources, coordinating work, and providing feedback to ensure quality and timelines.
- Embrace diversity, foster an inclusive workplace, and mentor associates to strengthen the team.
- Maintain high standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance, supporting Walmart’s regenerative goals.
- Deliver results with a customer-first mindset, balancing short- and long-term priorities.
- Drive continuous improvement, adopt new technologies, and support others through change.
Requirements
- 6 months of supervisory experience or 6 months of experience in the automotive industry.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must complete all job-required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if hired.
Preferred Qualifications
- Supervisory experience in the tire industry.
- Tire Industry Certification.

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $22.00 to $30.00. The actual rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage for the job location. Additional premiums may apply in specific circumstances, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
