About the role
The Systems and Infrastructure Engineer II is responsible for managing and executing highly skilled technical operations within a mission-critical data center environment. This role ensures continuous availability, reliability, and efficiency of building management systems (BMS), mechanical and electrical infrastructure, utility plants, and HVAC systems. The position also supports all maintenance activities required to sustain optimal data center performance.
What you'll do
- Inspecting and examining heating/refrigeration and air-conditioning, chillers, air compressors, heat exchangers, medium and low voltage switch gear, and all auxiliary equipment to locate defects in operations
- Managing water treatment chemicals for cooling towers, chillers, or other critical facilities systems
- Managing electrical distribution and controls including UPS systems, PDU’s, generators, switchgear
- Maintaining and updating the Energy Management Controls System and BMS systems
- Managing or performing preventive maintenance, installations, inspections, troubleshooting, adjustments, repairs, and replacement of rotating equipment (pumps, motors, associated parts and systems)
What you'll bring
- Experience with medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution, including UPS, PDUs, generators, and emergency power systems
- Strong mechanical expertise in HVAC, chillers, pumps, and cooling systems within critical environments
- Proficiency in building management and automation controls (BMS) to monitor and optimize performance
- Ability to supervise and coordinate work on utility plant mechanical and electrical systems, including vendors
- Willingness to support 24/7 operations, including night shifts and weekends, with a high level of accountability and responsiveness

Qualifications
- Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, information technology, or related area
- Option 2: 3 years’ experience in technology infrastructure engineering across areas such as compute, storage, network, mobility or virtualization related technologies

- Demonstrated knowledge in creating inclusive digital experiences and implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly
