V2X is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our Engineering team in Indianapolis, IN.

Act as an engineer throughout the development life cycle, from concept development, requirements definition, functional analysis, design review support, system implementation, integration, verification, and validation.
Work within a cross-functional Integrated Product Team (IPT).
Support the development and integration of advanced software/firmware/hardware systems including store control electronics, mission computers, avionics, sensors, certification and mission equipment for airborne and ground platforms.
Support trade studies and analyze technical data under guidance.
Collaborate within multi-discipline teams and contribute technical insights.
Manage tasks and deliver quality work on schedule.
Engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
At least two (2) years of related engineering experience in systems, software, or hardware engineering.
Familiarity with requirements development, hardware and software integration, and requirements verification.
Experience with test execution, including assisting in test plan and procedure development.
Understanding of technical standards, principles, theories, and concepts with a willingness to apply them in problem-solving.
Strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience with agile development methods to deliver engineering solutions.
Familiarity with DoD standards, processes, and regulatory requirements for defense systems development.
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering methods, tools, and languages.
Previous collaboration with cross-functional teams on complex engineering projects.
Understanding of hardware/software interface design and integration best practices.
