Position Summary

TourToTeach, a role within the retail sector, involves leading and developing teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. This includes touring stores, providing feedback, and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations. The role also involves introducing and leading company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions, and communicating business objectives to teams.

  • Manage and support customer service initiatives such as Store of the Community and community outreach programs
  • Ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved
  • Develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies
  • Provide process improvement leadership to ensure a high quality customer experience
  • Drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area
  • Review and evaluate Profit and Loss (PL) statements
  • Manage and assist in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses
  • Maintain effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes
  • Develop and implement action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved
  • Supervise and develop opportunities for hourly associates
  • Hire, train, mentor, assign duties, set clear expectations, provide associate recognition, and promote a belonging mindset in the workplace
  • Recruit and develop qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential
  • Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments
  • Support key stakeholders, plans, and initiatives to meet customer and business needs
  • Identify and communicate goals and objectives, build accountability for and measure progress in achieving results
  • Identify and address improvement opportunities and demonstrate adaptability and promote continuous learning

  • Includes the annual salary range for this position being $65,000.00 - $100,000.00, with additional compensation for certain positions including Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) and Complex Structure
  • Includes the possibility of an additional differential to meet legislative requirements, where applicable

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing
