Position Summary
TourToTeach, a role within Walmart, involves leading and developing teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. This includes touring stores, providing feedback, and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, merchandising, and company direction.
What you'll do...
- Teaches and trains teams, actively listens to associates, and provides feedback during store tours.
- Communicates and collaborates with associates at all levels regarding store operations, merchandising, and company direction.
- Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions.
- Communicates business objectives to teams effectively, modeling and demonstrating exceptional customer service standards.
- Manages and supports customer service initiatives such as Store of the Community and community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved.
- Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies and improve the customer experience.
- Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating Profit & Loss (PL) statements, managing and assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
- Maintains effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes to ensure sales and profit goals are achieved.
- Supervises and develops opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing associate recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace.
- Recruits and develops qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential.
- Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, and identifying and addressing improvement opportunities.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures by implementing related action plans, utilizing the Open Door Policy, and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.

Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years' of college;
- OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience;
- OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University;
- General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
Additional Compensation
Annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location), Complex Structure (based on external factors that create challenges), State Pay Differential (where applicable).
Pay and Schedule
The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities.
