Position Summary
TourToTeach, a role within Walmart, involves leading and developing teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. This includes touring stores, providing feedback, and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, merchandising, and company direction.

- Communicates and collaborates with associates at all levels regarding store operations, merchandising, and company direction.
- Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions.
- Communicates business objectives to teams effectively.
- Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model.
- Manages and supports customer service initiatives such as Store of the Community and community outreach programs.
- Ensures customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved by developing and implementing action plans to correct deficiencies.
- Provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
- Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating Profit & Loss (PL) statements, managing and assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
- Maintains effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.
- Supervises and develops opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing associate recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace.
- Hires, trains, mentors, assigns duties, provides recognition, and promotes a belonging mindset in the workplace for associates.
- Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, and identifying and addressing improvement opportunities.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures by implementing related action plans, utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy, and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.
- Respects individuals by building high-performing teams, embracing differences, and creating a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected through a culture of belonging.
- Recruits and develops qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential.

- Ensures compliance with drug-free workplace policies and requires successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training for positions involving firearms sales.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years' of college;
- 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience;
- 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University;
- General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
Additional Compensation
- Annual or quarterly performance bonuses;
- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location);
- Complex Structure (based on external factors that create challenges).
Pay Range
The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $80,000.00. Additional compensation includes performance-based bonuses and may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) and Complex Structure.
