(USA) Senior Manager, Marketplace Strategic Initiatives
Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives designed to position WFS sellers for success across Marketplace events, campaigns, and high-visibility promotional moments. This role serves as a key bridge between WFS and Marketplace teams to drive seller adoption, operational readiness, inventory health, and campaign execution excellence.
About the team
The WFS Strategic Initiatives team drives key programs to enhance seller success, operational efficiency, and overall WFS performance. Collaborating with Seller Management, Marketplace, Product, Operations, and Analytics teams, they lead strategic initiatives across events, campaigns, inventory health, and process optimization. The team identifies growth opportunities, solves complex challenges, and implements scalable solutions. Success depends on strong project management, communication, analytical skills, and influencing cross-functional stakeholders. This team plays a crucial role in advancing the WFS seller experience and supporting sustainable growth through data-driven insights and effective execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic initiatives focused on Marketplace events, campaigns, and seasonal promotional opportunities for WFS sellers
- Partner closely with Seller Management, Marketplace, Product, Operations, and Analytics teams to improve seller readiness and campaign execution
- Identify opportunities to increase WFS seller participation, sales performance, inventory availability, and operational efficiency during key events
- Analyze seller trends, event performance, operational constraints, and customer demand signals to drive actionable recommendations
- Drive cross-functional alignment and execution across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate business insights, risks, and recommendations effectively to leadership and partner teams
- Support strategic planning and long-term roadmap development for WFS events and campaign initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, Marketing, or related field
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to influence cross-functional partners
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience leveraging data to drive decisions and executive-level presentations
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments while driving structured execution
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field and 4 years’ experience in Business Management, Marketing, Omni-Channel Merchandising, or a related area. Alternatively, 6 years’ experience in Business Management, Marketing, Omni-Channel Merchandising, or a related area.

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and stock for certain positions.
