(USA) Senior Manager, Creative - Project Management
Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Project Management is a leader on the team reporting to the Director, Creative Project Management. They support the overall Project Management function and oversee several categories of initiatives. The Senior Manager, Creative Project Management drives efficiency and effectiveness across the team and business categories with an eye on process improvements and resource optimization.
What you'll do
- Lead a group of project managers, supporting their campaign ownership, workload balance, and personal development.
- Support the entire Project Management team to ensure all areas are operating cohesively and consistent with established expectations.
- Oversee a group of business categories making sure project managers are properly resourced while helping navigate major hurdles.
- Be a change management leader across the group, working to identify process improvements, gain approvals, execute change, and train team members.
- Be a timeline expert, helping project managers uplevel their knowledge and ability to navigate nuanced project plans.
- Work with cross-functional leaders on organizational initiatives, and to drive efficiency within Walmart Creative.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of project management experience at an advertising agency or in-house creative group
- 4+ years managing other creative project managers
- Extensive and in-depth knowledge of creative project management, content creation, creative production, tool usage, marketing process, and media plans
- Experience with Workfront or similar PM software with knowledge, and a point of view, on how tools can enable better project life cycles and capture stronger data
- Excellent verbal and written communication with apparent and effective leadership presence

Creative Project Management is the internal creative agency engine, linking all functions, and managing workflows, end-to-end, to deliver all campaigns and initiatives with excellence.
Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - $216,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include : Stock
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, Creative Writing, Advertising, Fine Arts, or related field and 3 years' experience in editorial content management or related field OR 5 years' experience in editorial content management or related field.
