(USA) Principal, Technology Operations – Seller Fulfilled Solutions (SFS)

Position Summary

The Principal, Tech Ops – Seller Fulfilled Solutions (SFS) at Walmart Marketplace leads high-impact, cross-functional initiatives to improve delivery speed, promise accuracy, and customer experience for seller-fulfilled items.

What you'll do

• Lead and execute end-to-end delivery experience programs, including initiatives such as Simplified Shipping Settings (SSS), Expedited etc.
• Define and drive program strategy, roadmap, and execution, including go-to-market planning and post-launch scaling, while partnering across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Seller Performance and Business teams.
• Drive initiatives to increase the penetration of fast delivery promises and improve promise accuracy.
• Collaborate with Promise Optimization teams to enhance delivery promise generation using data-driven and ML-based models.
• Influence seller behavior and adoption through scalable solutions that simplify shipping configuration and improve fulfillment performance.
• Establish success metrics, monitor performance, and use data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Operate as a horizontal program leader, aligning stakeholders and driving execution across multiple teams and priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 5+ years experience in program management, ecommerce, operations, or technology.
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale, cross-functional programs with measurable business impact.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Experience working closely with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Data Science teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across all levels of the organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in ecommerce or two-sided marketplaces.
• Background in shipping, logistics, fulfillment, or delivery promise systems.
• Familiarity with platform-driven shipping solutions such as Simplified Shipping Settings (SSS).
• Experience driving speed, fulfillment, or customer experience optimization initiatives.
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Additional Compensation

Includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Stock.

Minimum Qualifications

• Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 5 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
• Option 2: 7 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 4 years' experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
