(USA) Principal, Product Manager - Marketplace Seller Compliance
Position Summary
As a Principal Product Manager for Walmart Marketplace Compliance and Enforcement Platform, you will lead the strategy and execution of mission-critical platforms that safeguard the integrity, safety, and compliance of our marketplace ecosystem.
What you'll do
Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for marketplace enforcement and compliance platforms.
Translate business, operational, and policy requirements into scalable, user-centric, auditable solutions.
Lead the evolution of intelligent enforcement systems, including rules engines, ML-driven detection, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
Build and scale platforms supporting seller risk, compliance, performance, and remediation across the seller lifecycle.
Partner across Engineering, Architecture, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Data Science, Operations, and Business teams.
Drive execution, optimize metrics through data and experimentation, ensure auditability, improve workflows, and mentor teams to foster innovation and accountability.
Lead end-to-end product delivery, including launches, iterative enhancements, and continuous improvement of platform capabilities.

Join the Marketplace Trust and Enforcement Platform team, dedicated to developing advanced Reg-Tech solutions that ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards. The team builds scalable systems for seller assessment, policy enforcement, detection, remediation workflows, and audit-ready controls. These platforms are essential for maintaining marketplace integrity and fostering sustainable growth.
What you'll bring
Deep experience building and scaling Compliance, Risk, Trust & Safety, or enforcement platforms across seller and operations experiences.
Proven track record of building platforms and scaling systems in regulated, high-risk environments.
Strong understanding of compliance, risk management, regulatory frameworks, and product safety.
Experience designing end-to-end enforcement systems, including detection, decisioning, and enforcement workflows.
Expertise in human-in-the-loop platforms and operational tooling.
Strong judgment in ambiguous, high-stakes environments.
Data-driven and customer-focused, with exceptional stakeholder management, execution, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
Customer-obsessed, with the ability to deeply understand the needs of sellers.
Bring strong execution and organizational rigor, managing multiple complex initiatives while maintaining attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications
Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 9 years’ experience in product management.
Option 2: 11 years’ experience in product management or related area.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters: Business Administration, Masters: Computer Engineering, Masters: Computer Science
Supervisory experience.

Pay and Benefits
The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00 - $286,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Stock.
