Position Summary

What you'll do...

• Teaches training and actively listens to associates, providing feedback and introducing company change efforts.
• Collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, merchandising, and company direction.
• Manages and supports customer service initiatives such as Store of the Community and community outreach programs.
• Ensures customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved and implements action plans to correct deficiencies.
• Reviews and evaluates PL Profit Loss statements, manages and assists in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
• Maintains and assists in monitoring merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes.
• Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved.
• Hires, trains, mentors, assigns duties, provides recognition, and promotes a belonging mindset in the workplace.
• Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs.
• Identifies and addresses improvement opportunities and demonstrates adaptability and promotes continuous learning.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities selling firearms, requires successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
• For facilities selling only ammunition and having state-specific requirements, may require a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
• General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
