Position Summary

What you'll do...
- Teaches training and actively listens to associates, providing feedback and introducing company change efforts.
- Collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, merchandising, and company direction.
- Manages and supports customer service initiatives such as Store of the Community and community outreach programs.
- Ensures customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved and implements action plans to correct deficiencies.
- Reviews and evaluates PL Profit Loss statements, manages and assists in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
- Maintains and assists in monitoring merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes.
- Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved.
- Hires, trains, mentors, assigns duties, provides recognition, and promotes a belonging mindset in the workplace.
- Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs.
- Identifies and addresses improvement opportunities and demonstrates adaptability and promotes continuous learning.
- Supports the Open Door Policy and provides direction and guidance on applying company policies and practices.

Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
- For facilities selling firearms, requires successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
- For facilities selling only ammunition and having state-specific requirements, may require a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
