Position Summary

TourToTeach, a role within the Walmart organization, involves leading and developing teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. This includes providing feedback during store tours, communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, merchandising, and company direction. The role also involves introducing and leading company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions, and communicating business objectives to teams.

  • Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area
  • Reviews and evaluates PL Profit Loss statements
  • Manages and assists in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses
  • Maintains effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes
  • Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved
  • Supervises and develops opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing associate recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace

  • Annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00, with additional compensation including annual or quarterly performance bonuses, and regional pay zone (RPZ) and complex structure (based on external factors)
  • This job has an additional differential to meet legislative requirements, where applicable

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing
