Position Summary

Initiates, directs, and participates in community outreach programs by encouraging and supporting associates and managers in serving as good members of the community. Establishes and maintains relationships with key individuals or groups in the community. Represents the company to various external organizations and champions company-sponsored programs, events, and sustainability efforts.

What you'll do...

  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures by holding hourly associates accountable, analyzing and interpreting reports, implementing and monitoring asset protection and safety controls, maintaining quality assurance standards, overseeing safety and operational reviews, and developing and implementing action plans to correct deficiencies.
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates in assigned area by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, evaluating performance, and providing recognition. Sets clear expectations, communicates expectations consistently and effectively, promotes a belonging mindset in the workplace, and provides feedback to ensure business goals are achieved.
  • Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing and supporting customer service initiatives, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved, and developing and implementing action plans to correct deficiencies.
  • Affords assistance to the store manager in driving the financial performance of the facility by ensuring that sales and profit goals are achieved, reviewing and evaluating PL Profit Loss statements, assisting the management team in controlling expenses, developing and implementing plans to correct any deficiencies in financial performance, and analyzing economic trends and community needs for budget forecasting.
  • Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, identifying and communicating goals and objectives, building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results, identifying and addressing improvement opportunities, and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning.
  • Supervises and develops opportunities for associates by hiring and training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission values and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy, and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.

Additional Compensation

  • Annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
  • Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
  • Complex Structure (based on external factors that create challenges).

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.

Pay Range

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00.
