Position Summary
TourToTeach, a role within Walmart, involves leading and developing teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. This includes providing feedback, communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, merchandising, and company direction. The role also involves introducing and leading company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions, and communicating business objectives to teams.

- Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards
- Manages and supports customer service initiatives such as Store of the Community and community outreach programs
- Ensures customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved
- Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies
- Provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high quality customer experience
- Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area
- Reviews and evaluates PL Profit Loss statements
- Manages and assists in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses
- Maintains effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes
- Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved
- Supervises and develops opportunities for hourly associates
- Hires, trains, mentors, assigns duties, provides recognition, and promotes a belonging mindset in the workplace
- Recruits and develops qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential
- Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments
- Supports plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs
- Identifies and communicates goals and objectives

- Includes an annual salary range of $65,000.00 - $100,000.00, with additional compensation for certain positions
- May include a Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) and Complex Structure based on location and external factors
- May include a State Pay Differential to meet legislative requirements, where applicable
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years’ of college; OR
- 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR
- 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University
- General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing
Additional Compensation
- Annual or quarterly performance bonuses
